A Boulder resident for almost 30 years, Julie Wood has witnessed first hand the immense growth and change in the town she fell in love with as a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Her passion for real estate began in high school, in the suburbs of Chicago, where her parents bought and renovated a 150-year-old farmhouse. This experience launched a lifelong fascination with architecture, real estate investment and house flipping.
After graduating from CU, Julie spent nearly 3 years living in Paraguay, South America, as a Peace Corps volunteer, leading her to a career in emergency medicine as a paramedic in Boulder County. During this time, Julie and her family bought and sold several homes in Boulder County and their most beloved mountain town, Crested Butte.
In addition to her career in emergency medicine, Julie spent several years working as both a property manager for her own company, Sawjack LLC, and a home design and remodel assistant for Last Stile Design until finally pulling the trigger and realizing the dream of getting her real estate license.
Now proudly working at Compass Boulder with the Boulder Dream Collective, Julie thrives to meet her client’s needs, whether they are buying or selling a personal residence, investment property, second home, or house flipping.
Julie lives in north Boulder with her two children and lots of pets. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, CrossFit, gardening and spending as much time outdoors in the mountains as she can.
